The realistic bolt-action handle smoothly advances and retracts to securely lock the Parker Ballpoint cartridge. The front or business end of this pen is designed after a 30 caliber cartridge plated in gun metal with the tip plated in rose gold. The top looks like the other end of a bullet and the clip is a bolt action rifle.  The plating on this pen is gun metal.
